Ingredients
1 Chappelle Hill Garlic or Jalapeno Sausage |
3 Cans Red Beans or Seasoned Pinto Beans |
1 Small White Onion Finely Chopped |
1 Green Bell Pepper Finely Chopped |
1 Garlic Clove Finely Chopped |
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil |
1 Cup Adolphus Long Grain Rice |
Salt & Pepper, To-Taste |
Tony Chachere’s, To-Taste |
Instructions
- Cut sausage link into ¼ inch rounds, then cut them in half.
- Sauté onion and bell pepper in olive oil, then add garlic and sauté for 1 more minute. Add sausage to pot and brown on all sides. Add beans with juice into the pot, mix and season with Tony Chachere’s and salt and pepper, to-taste.
- Cook Adolphus rice per package directions.
- Serve red beans and sausage over rice.
NOTE: For leftovers mix red beans, sausage and rice all together in container.
