EASY RED BEANS AND RICE

Ingredients

1 Chappelle Hill Garlic or Jalapeno Sausage  
3 Cans Red Beans or Seasoned Pinto Beans
1 Small White Onion Finely Chopped
1 Green Bell Pepper Finely Chopped
1 Garlic Clove Finely Chopped
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 Cup Adolphus Long Grain Rice
Salt & Pepper, To-Taste
Tony Chachere’s, To-Taste  

Instructions

  1. Cut sausage link into ¼ inch rounds, then cut them in half.    
  2. Sauté onion and bell pepper in olive oil, then add garlic and sauté for  1 more minute.  Add sausage to pot and brown on all sides.  Add beans with juice into the pot, mix and season with Tony Chachere’s and salt and pepper, to-taste. 
  3. Cook Adolphus rice per package directions.
  4. Serve red beans and sausage over rice. 

NOTE:  For leftovers mix red beans, sausage and rice all together in container.
